This is an excellent Christian based charity that has individual projects both large and small scale that you can find out about on their website and give directly to. Unlike many other charities which may have a general pot that you contribute to, if you wish to donate money to help support a specific cause then you can easily do this. They have a magazine they distribute every 2 months that is well written and gives insight into the kinds of things they have been able to do with the money that has been donated.
A truly wonderful charity supporting persecuted Christians and the suffering Church. Their free magazine and daily prayer materials are great resources for churches too.

My wife and I stayed here on three occasions - a short break before Christmas 2004, a week in October 2005 and then a week for the Christmas break 2005 - our last Christmas before returning to Australia in December 2006. Apart from the mad bantam fowl who greeted us on our first visit...a hoot catching it I can assure you dear reader...our stays were just perfect. Total peace, the wood behind, the ex-GWR Taunton line behind the wood (I'm a train freak), idyllic gardens and pond. The cottage itself was lovely, everything you would expect in a self-caterer. Our Christmas dinner in 2005 (just the two of us) was one of our best ever, five hours long, five courses plus cheese, just cooked up as we went along. Go there, do Christmas, do your anniversary...just do it if you want peace, tranquillity and a chance to recharge your batteries and your relationship.
